today was surreal.
Everything I've ever heard about the Grand Canyon is true. Words literally cannot do it justice. It's something that can only be felt, not explained with a string of words. All I can say is every time I close my eyes now, I see it all again. The vast space. The massive dips into the earth. It's so enormous that it felt like my eyes were playing tricks on me. There's a stillness that comes from something so majestic, it's humbling. One of the greatest wonders of the world and it remains grounded in ease.
Expansive. It puts your life as a single human being into perspective. we are so small. Equally minuscule and insignificant, but also indescribably powerful. Minute capsules of infinity. The same force that carved out this canyon created us. This same feeling of vast expansiveness resides in each life form. No one looks at this natural creation and says "oh that peak right there is not quite high enough." There is no resistance within nature, it just is. Perfection in it's innate form. There is nothing to fix, nothing to change. The universe creates everything exactly how it's supposed to be.
